Know your rights

DAY EIGHT – 10 mins

With Trump’s latest executive orders, many have vowed to head to the airports and streets to protest. If you feel comfortable protesting, you should go – this is an incredibly important moment to be an intersectional feminist and put yourself on the line for people of color. If the first week is any indication, we’ll have plenty of protests to attend. It’s important to make sure you know your rights and have a game plan for your activism. With that in mind, here are some helpful tips for protesting:

1

Know the National Lawyers Guild #: 212-679-5100 and tape it to your wrist.

2

Have a bail buddy that is prepared to pick you up.

3

Don’t want paint all over your clothes? Tape of laminate those signs!

4

Bring any medication you need

5

Thank you for joining the fight!
